LABSe Seminar: L&T Assessment Session 1
Life and Biomedical Sciences Education Seminar
The student experience is changing. For the last two years our new graduates may not have had to hand write a single exam, instead all the exams are delivered online. These include assessments that are marked by staff, and assessments that are automatically marked (Computer Marked Assessment (CMA)). CMAs have become synonymous with multiple choice answers but there are many alternatives.
In this seminar we provide an overview of some of the new technologies that are becoming widely used across the University which can assist in delivering assessments. We will cover different ways to deliver assessments with Questionmark Perception, and NUMBAS.
This seminar will be useful and thought provoking for those who are already teaching at Undergraduate level, and those who are looking to include teaching as part of their career plan.
All welcome to attend.
