Event Type:

This will be a short technical seminar about the use of Galleria mellonella (waxmoth larvae) as a convenient virulence model for microbial pathogens, including within the context of antimicrobial drug discovery. Rick and colleagues have invested in this model by recently establishing a company to supply research-grade larvae to the research community. Please come along to learn more about this model and how it can be used.
