SLS received a Silver Athena SWAN Award, the first in the University of Dundee. This achievement acknowledges the impact of some of the measures initiated as a result of our previous Bronze award. It also reflects how important equality, diversity and inclusion is for the school and is the result of work and contributions from many people. Please note that a Silver award includes data and information about professional services, academic, and research staff, recognising the importance and value that everyone brings to our community.
To celebrate this achievement, to share some of the date the award is based on, and to answer questions related to it I would like to invite you to attend an open session on Wednesday 12th December at 10:00 am at the MSI Small Lecture Theatre. The event will conclude with refreshments in the WTB Atrium, which we hope will be a welcome opportunity for an informal gathering in the lead-up to the holidays.
