The College of Life Sciences is once again delighted to be opening its doors to the public as part of the nationwide event Doors Open Day 2012*, when organisations across the city provide free access to buildings members of the public would otherwise not be able to visit.
This year even the doors have changed! Access is now through the entrance of the Medical Sciences Institute (MSI) one of the three buildings that currently make up the College of Life Sciences, School of Research. Access is available to the Atrium of the Wellcome Trust Building, with stunning views across the Tay (hope for sunshine and bring your camera!), as well as a view of the construction of our new building - the Centre for Translational and Interdisciplinary Research - on the Northside of the complex.
This year we are also delighted to be running tours of our cutting-edge, internationally renowned Microscopy Facility. Tours are scheduled to start at 11:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 15:00.
No pre-booking required but please arrive about 10 min before the start of the tour as spaces are limited.

* Not to be confused with the CLS Open Doors Day on 10 November 2012, which is part of the Dundee Science Festival!
