Cancer Research

The College of Life Sciences (CLS) at the University of Dundee is internationally recognised as one of Europe’s foremost biomedical research institutes.

One of our key missions is to develop and facilitate the translation of basic science towards patient benefit. CLS enjoys excellent interactions between basic science and clinical practice at the Medical School and has an interdisciplinary approach particularly in the area of cancer research.

The College itself is home to 20 well-known cancer researchers whose research aims to improve understanding of the causes of cancers and to stimulate the development of improved treatments for these diseases.
