Dear all, with changes in our staffing and proposed changes in our curriculum, there will be some changes to our schools events in the coming year. Please find below an outline of proposed events and tentative dates. Please feel free to contact us for further information or to provisionally book any of the events for your classes or to suggest further activities.

Programme of events for schools 2010-11

October 2010 – Information evening on new course offerings in Life Sciences for science teachers and guidance teachers. (date tba)

November 2010 – RSE  Masterclasses - a series of four Saturday morning hands-on sessions for S1/S2 pupils (dates tba)

6th-17th December 2010 - AH Chemistry PPAs (5 days)
- AH Biology workshop – DNA and Physiology (2 days)
- H Biology symposium (1 day)
- Int 2 - Laboratory Science – Practical Skills (2 days)

As always, please feel free to ask for assistance with sixth year investigations. We can arrange access to a variety of techniques such as gel electrophoresis, mass spectrometry, IR and NMR spectroscopy
