The School Office provides a wide range of administrative and student support for approximately 800 Undergraduate and Taught Postgraduate students. The office also provides a range of important information required by staff and Advisers of Studies to manage their academic affairs effectively. It also services School and College committees, which make decisions on issues such as teaching programmes, student progression, student recruitment and research related activities.
The School Office has responsibility for ensuring students record of academic achievement is accurate, this may include things like; amending module choices, entering and amending results, checking scotcat credits and updating personal details. The School Office works closely with Registry Services on many of these matters and they are the main contact for awards and printing of academic transcripts.
