Postdoctoral Research Assistant: Parasite Glycobiology

A postdoc position is available to start by 1st May 2012 in the group of Prof Mike Ferguson at the College of Life Sciences in Dundee, Scotland.


The aim of this position is to work on the glycosyltransferases of the parasitic protozoan organism Trypanosomabrucei. This position is suited for a candidate with a recent PhD and a strong background in glycobiology and in using eukaryotic protein expression systems. The position is available for 18 months. The starting salary is Grade 7, point 29 (£29,249).
